After processing, the account is blocked and remaining funds are withdrawn using the last active withdrawal method; all pending bets are settled, and marketing communications are halted during the exclusion period. Customers may deactivate their Debet account upon request. Deactivation suspends access to products while preserving account data for compliance, dispute resolution, and potential reactivation. Debet maintains an internal Responsible Gaming governance structure. A designated Responsible Gaming lead, or the Compliance function where no dedicated role exists, is responsible for implementing this policy, monitoring effectiveness, and reporting to senior management at least annually. Material changes to the policy are communicated to the regulatory authority in accordance with licensing obligations. Staff training on Responsible Gaming is conducted at induction and at regular intervals to identify risks and apply the proper controls.
Debet retains records related to age verification, limits, exclusions, self-assessments, and interventions in accordance with applicable data protection and regulatory retention requirements.
